big brother class

[kyertin jumped right in doing the diapers!]

[nothing like giving the baby a body slam to get those diapers on]

[eliot having trouble getting interested at first, so he colored]

[didn't take him long to come around though]

the boys had "big brother" class today at fairview in burnsville. they spent a little over an hour learning how to help do diapers, hold the baby, and what the birth process consists of (to a degree). as you can see from the pictures above, they were taking it pretty seriously (at least when i was taking pictures :)

when the nurse/teacher was talking about how the baby does "exercise" inside the mommy's tummy, kyertin managed to tell the entire class that HIS sister does the "butt dance" inside.... wow. (the butt dance is a dance that the boys do, and that kyertin thought the baby was doing one night when kellie told him that it was the baby's butt he was seeing move inside)
