arrived safely!

i don't have time to write anything profound (like i ever do), but thought we would let everyone know that we have arrived in costa rica, and after a 3 hour car ride, are now booked into our hotel in la fortuna. kellie and i both are just loving every minute of it already.....

...the tropical temps, the fresh fruit, the local welcome, the volcano outside our hotel room door, etc. etc......

its going to be a great week. i continue to be sick, but ibuprofen is keeping it at bay for the most part.

the cat has been let out of the bag to kellie that we are going to be rappelling waterfalls tomorrow morning! she is as excited as i am about it.... we end the day with river rafting, so its going to be an amazing first full day here.

NOTE: internet in our room doesn't work well, so we have to walk to another area close by to get it working. we're going to have to be more strategic about the phone calls. we'll be gone most of the day tomorrow, but we'll get this figured out by tuesday for sure.
