Island Camping in Wabasha

We had another great weekend of island camping with the kids last weekend and we were thrilled that Ryan and Ty were able to join us as well.

Weekend Highlights:

• Finding an amazing camp site with a huge private beach 
• Having 3 solid days of clear skies and 90+ temps
• Climbing gigantic sand dunes (see pic below...the three tiny specks on the hill are the boys)
• Catching a garden snake!
• Playing 400 with Uncle Ryan
• Discovering a secret hidden lake
• Going in the Alma lock and dam
• Swimming across the channel in the cove
• Ky and Dad sleeping on the sand under the stars together
