showers and sunny

on saturday, my family had a large "couples shower" for raina which took place at our house. unfortunately, i don't have pictures because i couldn't find my camera today, and don't want to delay putting this entry in before weeks go by.

we had about 25 people over, and it was a very fun night. it was great to have so many see our house who hadn't been there yet.

thank you so much to my immediate family (especially my mom, dad, sisters, and their spouses) for all their hard work in making the night a fun one (and afterwards a CLEAN one :). thanks to dad and the guys for loading/unloading all those tables....

raina wasn't "showered" with gifts, she received a torrential DOWNPOUR of gifts. it was crazy. but i can't complain, i was lucky enough to receive the espresso maker i registered for :)
