This evening the kids and I had the opportunity to tour our CSA farm, Untied's, in Montrose. Farmer Jerry took us on a wagon ride tour of a large part of their farm where they grow in 'tunnels'. They are using some very cutting edge farming techniques and practices that take care of the land and respect our water supply. I was quite impressed with their family operation, the warm welcome, and the fabulous home grown dinner complete with amazing sweet corn. The boys had three ears each!

Raina taking full advantage of 'samples' right off the vine
This was a great opportunity to see where some of our food comes from and to appreciate the talent, time, and hard work that goes into feeding us.
