Despite the constant threat of rain, a few moments in the storm shelter, and actually having to sleep at Grandma Vicki's house, we had a FABULOUS weekend of boating and camping! With the Berg and the Svoboda families we had a grand group of 6 adults and 7 kids. The kids had a blast running around the park, making s'mores, swimming, tubing, playing in the sand, etc. The adults enjoyed hanging out and had fun experimenting with the new pie irons at dinner time. Shane took the 'creativity' award with a ham, creme cheese, strawberry, bacon sandwich on almond Jonny Bread french toast drizzled with real maple syrup!
